Danzation 2006

Sorry ppl for not updating for like a freakin long time. Been damn hard to find time to blog la seirously. Much more impt things to do like projects, maths thingys, S&S day stuff, GLs, etc! Anywayz, this post is dedicated to our dream - DANZATION!!! hehe. Its been a blast reeli. Our efforts paid off. 2000+ ppl came to watch us. Like whao. And we're the first club which made profit in a production!!! WooHOo!!! Muahaha~~~


Sat 11/11/06
First day of performance. Reached sch at 12pm. Ate lunch with weng, ben, huat n kiat... 1pm then go convention centre. But delayed SUPER LONG b4 can start rehearsal. Coz everything like not prepared. The stage still got big big banner of wadever graduation thing. Then the stoopid bangladas work so slow to remove it and all the potted plants. Pissed. Everybody stone so long till more n more tired lor. Then test mic all tt. Singers went to sing sing. While dancers continued to stone. Haha. I think managed to run one full run at 4pm b4 choinging for dinner and chionging to make up. Its like, even when i mit Nicole (my sec. sch fren from SP hip hop grp) to pass her tix at 7.30pm, i havent even make up style hair yet!! Partly coz of the delay in ushering thing. So last min briefing to the gls. The show suppose to start at 8pm. But in the end start at 8.30 i think. lol. Thx to Meiyan n my family for coming down to support! =D (although my family tot the dances were too indecent. lol)

First nite... Quite a few screw ups. Which is normal. The crowd is like so near to us. Abit kong bu. Haha. And not say dark dark lor. Is every single face can c so clearly. lolx. Anyway 1st half of the dance veh slack. I oni got my Short VS Tall dance. 2nd half, OMG. Pia like shit. Got like 6 dances. All different costumes. -.-

Oh ya!! Muz personally thank vanessa (nra freshie as well as gl), peggy n sonia for helping mi with changing of clothes, accessories, shoes, etc!! W/o them, i tell u, i GONE. Haha... Coz its like after one dance, next dance muz faster change n get out on time. Esp from Ryan's dance to Latin Jazz! Gan jiong like crazy. Muz change out of pants, shoes n 2 tops into a other top, skirt, tights and the complicated-many-strings-heels! I was so touched when Sonia came and put on socks for mi!! (Not for latin jazz la i mean other dances. haha) 1st time i was stunned. And abit paiseh. Didnt wan them to do these 'dirty' work de. Then they gimme drink water n all. Practically SerViNg mi. But i reeli nided it... After every dance my throat dry like siao. Veh pain. Coz breathe very hard plus air so cold n dry. Then so farni. I gan jiong, Vanessa also gan jiong. Then she lost my things and she went panic till like dunno wad! While i there telling her nvm nvm. Haha~ I think she was kinda stressed. Xin ku ni le =D Glad everything went fine =)

2nd day and last day of performance!!! Meet weng, ben, kiat, huat at canteen 1 as usual for lunch. Weng da bao-ed chicken rice for us coz sunday canteen no open. In the end, got catered lunch. But NOBODY knew. Pissed. Waste $. Lol. The chicken rice not nice somemore =X And they kinda ordered TOO MUCH. Till it lasted for our dinner -.-"
Anyway 2nd day was the day i looked more forward to coz GLs n SGLs n him coming to watch!! hehe. So happy when he msged mi to wish mi luck. But tt stoopid boi gotta msg something which make mi worried n sad b4 i go dance. piangz. Shall not say wad la hor? So i got very upset. N almost broke down. I imagined the worst. But i managed to dance my best tt nite. Coz no matter wad, we freakin trained for 1/2 a yr for this 2 nites k!! No audience will understand wad we've been through for their $15 worth of tix man.
Yup and all ended happily. With mi forgetting to bring my tights and latin top. But managed to borrow from Evelyn n survive. Haha. And i think i danced w/o a single mistake tt nite. So happie!! HeE~~ The finale was damn high. I was surprised i din cry. So did alot din cry too. Guess we too shag till no energy for tear le ba. Hahaz...
After tt the SGLs came down. Huggies all over the place. But he continued to dao mi n remain at one side with Joel... Sad. But stayed happie for the sake of my frenz. They said the performances were how great n all... So happie. =DD Then they so cute. They spot mi by spotting my white shoe with red shoe lace. lol~ Smart sia.
The show ended kinda late. I think 11.30pm. So not long after alot gtg already... Esp next day got sch lor. Sian. My cam was at backstage so peiwen helped mi take all my fotos... Thx! =P I kinda pulled him to take foto with mi. In my mind i was thinking it would b our last foto together... Was VERY surprised tt he put his arms over my shoulder. Like after 2mths of coldness. I din react but juz took the foto then told him i will take a long time b4 i can leave.
During rehearsals... Freshie's dance item. Spot huat -.- Thorn among the roses. lol Steph should go army. After rehearsals overnited in studio... Vanessa stretching herself in a farni manner n i caught it =X

Danzation 2006. My Dream. My Passion. Came true =)


He waited for mi till i finally can leave, which is abt an hour later. He took mi out n clearified things with mi... U wun noe how relieved i felt. How happy i was. I had 100 reasons to reject him. But i chose to believe n forgive him... Reeli love him too much tt i can forgo any imperfections... It felt so great to b back in his arms again... I tot it would nv happen anymore in my life. God answers prayers =) n birthday wishes come true =)

Thx for ending Danzation with such a happy ending...
